"In Paris where I lived for several years, I came to love the Parisian coffee houses and their special ambiance.

Nina Cafe, in Neve Zedek, is named after my 6 years old daughter. Nina Cafe is like my home.

Although the coffee house is spacious, its narrow entrances endow it with the intimacy and warmth of friendly embrace.
Following the tradition and guidance of my family, I have paid great attention to the finest details that make up the distinctive character of the venue.

On the walls of Nina Café you will find my family, my mother paintings, photographs taken by my husband, Itai Barel as well of pictures of my customers taken by my sister, Devina.
Customers coming to Nina Café feel as if they have entered my living room or my kitchen. In accordance with the concept “My customer is my very important guest”, I make every effort to ensure that they feel at home. There are those who come several times a day yet always greeted as if its their firs visit.

The waiters dressed in a white shirt and bowtie (Papillion), which makes them casily identifiable and creates a feeling of respect towards our clientele.

I myself work in the kitchen because the quality of each product is of the essence to me. I endeavor to make sure that each dish aspires to the highest standards even if they do not always look or taste exactly the same. Consequently, it is not unusual for my customers not to order from the menu but instead to ask me to prepare what ever I want for them.
While I enjoy the active preparation of the food, my greatest joy is in the pleasure of hosting- a tradition that probably bestowed on me by my secret advisor, my father, Ivan Zibi., One of the first founders of hotels in Israel since 40 years and owner of his own chain of hotels.

The nina Suites Hotel, which I opened above the café, is something I have always dreamt of doing and drives from my love for entertaining guests.
I designed each of the rooms personally, with minute attention to the smallest details. The result , a special European sophistication.

The guests of Nina Café can stay in the suites and enjoy the homely atmosphere and excellent service that they offer.
I believe in the slow development of this concept so I intend to expand the hotel gradually and bring to it the special Parisian atmosphere and style which befit such a unique location as neve zedek.”
